It also argues against generic tools: "You need software that truly understands the unique needs of martial arts — a one-size-fits-all CRM simply won't cut it."

The arithmetic on those published prices

Kicksite's published range is $588 to $2,388 a year. Our all-in retainer is $1,188 a year after a one-time $2,250, and the website on its own is $600 a year after a one-time $999. If your school sits on Kicksite's top tier, the yearly software difference against our all-in retainer is $2,388 − $1,188 = $1,200. If it sits on the bottom tier, Kicksite is $600 a year cheaper than our all-in retainer and you still need a website.

Card processing: check your own statement

Kicksite says its preferred partner Basys provides "highly competitive, flat rate processing fees" but does not publish the rate, so we will not put a number in its mouth. Your own statement has the answer: total processing fees for the month divided by total card volume billed.

  1. 1Every 1 percentage point on $28,000 a month of card volume is $280 a month, or $3,360 a year. That is just $28,000 × 0.01.
  2. 2Stripe publishes 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card charge (stripe.com/pricing, read 2026-09-26).
  3. 3On $28,000 a month across 200 charges, Stripe's published rate is $28,000 × 2.9% = $812, plus 200 × $0.30 = $60. That is $872 a month, $10,464 a year.
